This product has three output ports, and you can choose one of them to use at a time as you want, the functions of the port as follows:

1. DVI output, connects the DVI devices using a DVI cable.
2. HDMI output, connects the HDMI devices using a HDMI cable.
3. VGA output, connects the VGA devices using a VGA cable.
4. Mini Display Port connects Mac Mini, Mac Book, Mac Book Pro, Mac Book Air, Surface Pro 2, Surface Pro 3, and many other devices.
